What type of wax do you use in your candles and wax melts? All of our jar/pan candles are made with a proprietary soy blend wax that has been specially formulated to maximize both hot and cold scent throw. T

How do I use wax melts? Our wax melts should be used in a melt warmer. Just place the melt or a piece of it in the top of the warmer. If you are using a conventional warmer, you will need to place an unscented tea light candle in the bottom of the warmer. If it is an electric warmer, simply plug it in and turn on.

How long do wax melts last? Wax melts will stay fragrant for approximately 8-12 hrs per oz. If your wax melts weigh 3 oz., that equals approximately 24-36 hrs.

What type of wax melter should be used with Classic Farmhouse/Organic Garden wax melts? Our wax melts can be used in any type/brand of tea light or electric wax warmer. Please follow warmer manufacturer instructions for use.

Why is my wax melt not melting right away in my cast iron wax melter? It takes a little while to heat the cast iron to a temperature that is warm enough to melt the wax. Once the wax receptacle has heated, your wax melts will start to melt.

What type of tea light candle should I use with my cast iron wax warmer? The best tea light to use are unscented, metal casing tea lights. We do not recommend using plastic casing tea light candles.

Why is my wax melt no longer fragrant while there is still wax left in the warmer? There will always be some wax left in the warmer when you are finished with your melt because the wax is warmed and not burned like a candle. When a candle burns, the wax and fragrance are “consumed” as the candle burns down. When you warm a melt, the fragrance is released, but the wax is not consumed. The unspent wax will remain in the receptacle.

I would like to change scents or clean my cast iron wax warmer. How do I do that? To clean the warmer or change your melt scent, simply place the warmer in the freezer for a while to harden the wax melt. Simply invert the warmer receptacle and the wax will pop right out once it has hardened! Wipe the sides and bottom of the warmer and you are ready to go!
